Sunday was quiter than normal, as it was Easter and many stores here were closed all day or at least closed early. (Target was even closed!!!)
We did have two adoptions! Lola went with a very nice young man and his sweet girlfriend on a trial basis. I hope this is her forever home. The other adopted kity was Jackie. She is a sweet calico, about 2 years old, who'd been up at PetSmart way too long. She went home with a couple and their two girls. Jackie's calm but playful personality will be great for them!
Hunter's info has been updated with some adorable notes:

The other cat I'd like to spotlight is Taylor. She is all black and is about a year old. She loves people but isn't really fond of other cats. She will bond with her adoptive parent and give them lots of love. She was left in a carrier on a businesses doorstep.

I was watching TV the other day and saw a news story about a "permanent wrinkle remover" that's just been approved by the FDA. This woman, pretty soccer mom looking lady, was complaining about her horrible "smile lines". How deep they were and how they were starting to look just like her father's and his were so deep!
Why would anyone want to get rid of "smile lines"? If you have them doesn't that mean you smile a lot? Isn't that a mark of a happy person who's enjoyed their life and isn't afraid to smile and be happy?
This thought has stayed in my head and so now I'll catch myself in a mirror smiling and my smile widens because I see my "smile lines" and I remember that they are there because of how often I have smiled in my life.
