There will be more detailed posts with pictures later, but for now, here's a summary.
Wolf and I took Friday off work. I spent the morning at the International School of Skin & Nails in Atlanta, as a celebration of meeting my first weightloss goal I'd wanted to pamper myself and I was finally able to go do it. We then went to the downtown Atlanta Fulton county courthouse and got legaly married for free, but it was a pain in the butt as most government processes are.
Saturday morning I got up at the buttcrack of dawn and walked in the Atlanta Komen Race for the Cure. It was amazing and exhausting all at the same time. Wolf and I then spent the afternoon looking at motorcycles.
Today I'm doing a bit of laundry and playing around online. My legs hurt (yesterday it was from the hip down, but now it's just from the knee down) so I'm taking it easy. Wolf's at work today, normal schedule, and so I'm going to attempt to make a pork loin roast for dinner tonight. He gave me instructions, don't worry. :)

Using a suggestion from www.hungrygirl.com to use a can of pumpkin puree instead of the oil/eggs/whatever that a boxed cake mix calls for I made a yummy dessert with only 112 calories, 3g of fat, and about 8g of sugars per serving. YUMMY!!!

Last night Wolfie helped me make a lasagna concoction for my dinner.

Before yesterday I would tell people that I don't like cottage cheese, but the nutrition info on it was much better than the riccotta so I went with it.
This makes me think of all the other foods out there that I haven't ever tried or haven't tried in a long time and might also like. I've recently learned that I like Zucchini and that yellow squash is OK if it's not overcooked. Greenbeans are even OK as long as they aren't mushy. I used to HATE green beans.
Here's a list of things I need to try:

I'm making marzipan and needed blanched almonds. Of course, Central Market was out, so I bought regular almonds and I have blanched them and am peeling them myself. This is the most fun thing I have done in the kitchen in a while. The skin of the almond loosens from the flesh of the nut after bein in the boiling water for just a minute or two, then you hold the almond between you thumb and first finger and press and the almond pops right out of it's skin.

I like hot dogs. All beef, kosher, turkey, fat free, lite, I've even had one grilled veggie dog that was damned good. The problem is I don't know what brand it was.
I can tell you after tonights dinner that Morning Star Farms Veggie dogs are NOT them. They weren't horrible, just not too good either.

How do you make chicken gravy if you don't have a packet?

Yummy.
I made breakfast, and I didn't burn the house down!
I took Pioneer brand low fat baking mix, followed the pancake directions on the back but added 1/2 cup of Cyn & Stevyn's Apple Butter. Then cooked them up like normal pancakes. I made 6 large ones and had 3 for breakfast and left 3 for Wolfie to try.
They were wonderful with butter and just a little bit of maple syrup on them!
