H&M just opened a store in the mall closest to me (NorthPoint) and I am beyone excited. I've wanted to go to this store since I first saw it on an episode of What Not to Wear. I've heard about it online and seen the great deals people have gotten on some very cute clothing. I can't wait to go!

They also have a fun thing online called the Dressing Room where you can get your fashion personality. You can make a model IN YOUR SIZE and then dress it up!

The pots and pans we bought years ago have reached the end of their life expectancy. The non-stick stuff is coming off the non-stick ones and the copper bottoms on the stainless steel ones are actually starting to seperate from the bottoms. Everytime you cook with the stainless steel ones there's a chemical smell from the stuff holding the copper to the steel melting/out-gassing/whatever.
Wolf has been looking at these Tramontina pots & pans at WalMart. They are tri-ply, stainless steel, good stuff. The 8 piece set at WalMart is $139.76. Before buying the set he wanted to test it out so we bought the 4qt saucepan that's not in the set. He loves it.

I get Mypoints from buying stuff on Cooking.com. I've bought stuff there before (like Senseo coffee pods) for good prices so we thought we'd check it out. They offer free shipping on lots of things and if it was priced the same (or very close) we'd have bought it online from them.
Cooking.com wants $299.95 for the same damn set!!!

So I called their customer support line and told them how much I can buy it for at WalMart, the apologized and said they don't price match with WalMart.
Off to WalMart Wolf and I went. When we get there, we're walking up and down the aisles considering purchasing the set (after all it is $139.76) and Wolf see's a bunch on an end cap. With a price tag of $75.00. He gets my attention, I look at the set, look at the price and say 5 words:
Put it in the cart.

I spent 4 hours shopping at Goodwill Saturday. :) I got 3 size 12/L shirts and 3 size 14 skirts! I even tried on a suede leather skirt in a size 12! I thought, if it was a little tight I'd buy it and save it for the winter, but it fit! *lol* It's going too be to warm here for a leather skirt very soon and I hope that by the winter it would be too big so I didn't buy it. *giggle* It was so much fun.

I'd heard people online talk about this store. They said it was like a Whole Foods but less expensive. I'd seen some of the foods in pictures on the BentoLunch community and it looked good. I was excited, but skeptical when I found they had one in Norcross (one of the neighboring towns to where I live). ( Read more... )
